Meet Our Founder
Christopher Keohane is a third-generation business owner and accomplished entrepreneur based in Danvers, Massachusetts, carrying forward a proud family legacy in the North Shore’s food and hospitality industry. His grandfather founded and operated the Hyland Diner, a classic local eatery that became a community staple, while his father owned and successfully ran Henry’s Market in Beverly—a beloved specialty grocery known for its fresh provisions, homemade goods, and dedicated service—for many years before its transition to new ownership.
Inspired by this heritage of quality, community focus, and operational savvy, Christopher has built his own distinguished career by optimizing and innovating within the culinary and hospitality spaces. During his management of the historic Wenham Tea House Restaurant—a North Shore gem established in 1912—he revitalized the venue into a premier destination for elegant dining, premium loose-leaf teas, and unforgettable events.
Through creative programming like the highly popular “Last Tea of the Titanic” series, he elevated its appeal, streamlined operations for greater efficiency, and preserved its timeless charm while attracting a devoted clientele. This era also included oversight of complementary ventures such as the Bass Rock Beach Club for seasonal coastal hospitality experiences and the Kimball Cafe in Lynnfield at 6 Kimball Lane—a strategic daily hub in a professional building housing HP Hood’s corporate offices.
When the pandemic disrupted traditional models, Christopher demonstrated remarkable adaptability by launching Freshly Delivered from the Wenham Tea House kitchen. This innovative meal delivery service became a reliable lifeline, producing and distributing fresh, high-quality prepared foods through optimized supply chains, precise menu development, and seamless logistics—expanding access and sustaining momentum during uncertain times.
Central to his entrepreneurial vision is the North Shore Culinary Center at 10 Garden Street in Danvers, a state-of-the-art shared-use commercial kitchen he established in 2018. As a dynamic incubator for aspiring food entrepreneurs, it offers 24/7 access to professional-grade facilities, office space, and supportive resources that empower startups to launch, test, and scale efficiently. Christopher’s leadership has positioned the Center as a vital hub for the region’s culinary community, fostering innovation, collaboration, and real success for countless small businesses with practical, hands-on guidance.
Complementing his business pursuits, Christopher ran a successful striper and diving charter company, North Shore Diver, for several years, drawing on his lifelong passion for the ocean to provide guided charters and private experiences along the North Shore coast. This aligns with his advanced certifications as a PADI Rescue Diver and International SCUBA Instructor, where he leads guided dives and promotes ocean safety through community events at the Danvers Community YMCA.
These diverse experiences—spanning venue optimization, innovative delivery pivots, culinary infrastructure creation, and adventure-based ventures—directly shaped the founding of Prep to Profit Business Consulting, where Christopher serves as Founder and Principal Consultant.
He now mentors small business owners with proven, battle-tested strategies for streamlined processes, intelligent scaling, cost management, and sustainable profitability, helping them build resilient enterprises grounded in real-world insights.
A lifelong Danvers resident, Christopher maintains strong community ties, including his 2020 non-party candidacy for the Massachusetts House of Representatives in the 13th Essex District, advocating for economic strength and pragmatic solutions.
Today, Christopher continues to drive impact through the North Shore Culinary Center and Prep to Profit Business Consulting, embodying a legacy of entrepreneurial drive, integrity, and mentorship that inspires confidence in those ready to learn from a seasoned, hands-on leader.
